This week we welcomed Kate and her trio of pups to the Wayzn community. Kate and her husband are puppy parents to Freya, 5, Ryah, 4, and Zephyr, 14 months.
This week we welcomed Kate and her trio of pups to the Wayzn community. Kate and her husband are puppy parents to Freya,5, Ryah,4, and Zephyr, 14 months. All three are husky malamute mixes with lots of energy. “At home, we have about five acres of raw mountain side and they run full speed up the mountain and use fallen trees like bounce beams” said Kate. However, each of the pups have a personality of their own. Zephyr is the youngest of the pack and it shows. “He’s just a big clumsy puppy. Its like his legs don’t belong to his body. We built a new deck and he’s always slipping and sliding all over it” said Kate. His sister Ryah is a bit more shy, especially around strangers. However, when her parents host puppy parties with other huskies, she always enjoys herself. The oldest, Freya, is known for her attitude. “If you tell Freya no she’ll talk back to you and bark until she gets her way,” said Kate. With such a full house, its no surprise that the Wayzn received a warm welcome. “Since do we have three dogs who all ask to come in and out at different times in the day, I was just tired of having to get up. However, it wasn’t just for me. My dad who is in his 70s often takes care of them and having the Wayzn makes that process a lot easier for him as well,” said Kate.
