"We absolutely love this product. It installs quickly, allows you to open the door wide enough for the dog, but not to let people in if you set it up that way. Our dogs have learned where to stand to open the door. We paired it with a camera and Alexa to open the door from the outside when the dogs come up. You don’t have to have any bulky doors attached to your sliding glass door. Don’t have to cut it into your house. And if you want, it lifts out of a slot making opening the door fully easy. Their customer service has been awesome. Thank you again for a great product."
Worth every single penny
"After 8 months of daily use, I think it's safe to give a rating on the Wayzn Smart Pet Door. We have cameras set up, inside the house and outside the house, we don't use the pet tag (just for clarification). My spouse and I both work 12 hour days, and we have three dogs; because of Wazyn, we can open the door and let the dogs out daily and fully remotely, while we are on our break or lunch we can simply tap the button and the sliding glass door opens. You can close it manually, or have it close after a certain time. I'd highly recommend investing in some camera's inside (overlooking the door), and outside the house (overlooking the door), to view and confirm when your animals/pets want to go out or come back inside. Only issues I can comment on is when the power goes out or the internet goes out, you have to manually recalibrate the wazyn (opens and closes three times), before it will allow you to manually open and close."

"We’ve had our Wayzn for years and were early adopters. If it ever dies, we will buy another one immediately. We live in a two level home with senior dogs who sometimes need to go out at night, and it has been a lifesaver. Instead of getting up and going downstairs multiple times, they can go out when they need to. Our cats use it too and move in and out easily. Fit, form and function
What size door can it fit?
It comes in three sizes. The small accommodates doors with an exposed track length from 27 to 30.5 inches. Medium accommodates tracks from 30.75 to 37.5 inches, and large from 37.75 to 49.75 inches.
What type of door can it fit?
Any two-panel sliding glass door where the fixed panel is the outermost panel. Wayzn can not be placed outside the home and is not designed to work with 3+ panel doors.
How wide will my door open?
The exact opening width depends on the size of your door -- specifically your exposed track length. By clicking the Configure button on the Wayzn Smart Pet Door page on our website you can learn how to measure your exposed track length and see exactly how wide your door will open with Wayzn. When not in use you can easily pivot your Wayzn Smart Pet Door out of the way allowing the door to open fully.
What can I adjust/control with the app?
The Wayzn app lets you:
- Set the length of time for the door to remain open before closing
- Reduce the opening width below the maximum if desired
- Enable or disable automation features such as motion detection, Alexa and Wayzn Pet Tag
- Schedule days and times for automation
- Add/revoke additional users
- Enable or disable location detection to toggle Wayzn automatically between home and away modes based on your phone's location
What are all the ways to open the door?
- Use the Wayzn app from anywhere. We suggest using a camera to view the area before operating the door remotely
- Wayzn's on-board motion detector can let your pet out (but not back in) automatically
- Connect Alexa to use voice
- Use an Alexa routine triggered by any Alexa-compatible camera
- Give your pet a Wayzn Pet Tag (sold separately) for full control to come and go as desired
Returns, warranty and shipping
What is the retun policy?
The product can be returned within 30 days from delivery. Unopened products are fully refundable, and opened products are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Does it come with a warranty?
Yes, all Wayzn products come with a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. For details please review our Warranty Policy.
How does it ship and when will I receive it?
Once it is ready to ship, your Wayzn Smart Pet Door will ship via UPS Ground and may take 3-7 days to reach you. You will receive an email with a tracking link when your shipping label is printed.
